In collaboration with Color and Light,Stark Raven manages the engineering, fabrication, installation and maintenance for large-scale LED tree and vine installations for Color + Light. These towering structures are brought to life with custom-designed lighting systems that illuminated entire plazas, enhancing communal areas with interactive displays of light in public settings. They range from 10 feet to 40 feet tall and can have upward of 100k individually addressable LEDs.
The fabrication studio was responsible for the full production, from engineering the robust steel frames to integrating cutting-edge LED technology. This project demonstrates the studio’s capability to handle large-scale, high-impact urban installations, merging durability with aesthetic appeal for city environments.
